feminist philosophy

I find it fascinating how neglected feminist philosophy is by male philosophers. Women have to write about feminist philosophy derived from  famous male philosophers because they failed to touch on it, almost as if they lay out philosophy and expect a female to come and translate it in feminist terms, or apply it to feminism,  i.e. Foucault writing on discipline but failing to mention the gender in all of this. There really should be more male feminist philosophers on this planet.
