animal (poem by joop bersee/ illustration cecilia ferreira)

Water drips down my hands.
My face covered with roses.
I can see you behind the window across the street.

I once saved a lotta coins to pay you a visit.
You laughed at my hair, my socks the small coins in my hands.
The animal I am now, is not breeding.
